Misinformation

are you going to share something have you verified it? is it fake? is it photoshopped ? is it some hate content? misleading? misinformation? etc.

Do you even think of these before sharing something? Many of us do not think of these questions. I would say they don't even think they just know the forward, share, copy& paste buttons on apps websites, social media.

Nowadays this misinformation trend has gone too far most of us just share things without having concern that how it affects society.

A statement is thrown by people when confronted is that if I would not send it then someone else will how will you stop them.

point is not how will I or someone else stop, the point is if you will correct yourself, it will have an effect on society. Now you will ask me how changing my self will have an effect on society?

The answer is simple if you will stop a source of spreading misinformation will be less and when you won't share a piece of false news many will not get that news and further spread can be prevented.

Misinformation can have many adverse effects of someone's life, not only someone you can also be in some discomfort .

A single forward message on Whatsapp, Messenger etc, share on Facebook, Twitter or any other media can be a source of I would say the destruction of a personality.

My intention is not to harm I forwarded just for fun.

Have fun but verify please your seconds of fun is sometimes no fun for others. You can share many fun things for fun after verification .

Now many of you will say how fun things can be verified. Fun is Fun unless until other is not hurt.

For example, we on social media shared a piece of news that one actor died of corona or he or she went on a ventilator. This news became viral so what happens that someone from their family saw the news who was not in contact with them for any reason or was at home just saw a news on social media after he woke up. Think for once what he or she had gone through. even that actor had to come up with a video to clarify the situation.
